Real estate stats have the propensity to be rather boring. With that in mind I set out to find real estate information displayed in a graphically please way. Infographics are both informative and entertaining at the same time. While they have been around for awhile now, I haven’t seen a collection of good real estate graphics in one post, something that happens in other industries quite frequently.
With that in mind, I present to you the 5 coolest real estate infographics I could find. You can click on any of the graphics to enlarge it. Enjoy!

1. Home Affordability -
This particular graphic helps visualize the cost of owning a home and mentions things like mortgage rates and leading causes of foreclosure. (You will have to click on this graphic a second time to enlarge it.)
2. Real Estate Market Recovery -
This infographic looks at changes in the number of home sales by state, US home sales by month and the 10 most expensive metro areas. All good things to know if you are buying or selling a home anywhere in the country. (You will have to click on this graphic a second time to enlarge it.)
3. Top 10 Cities To Rent Or Buy a Home -
This graphic shows the ten best cities to buy a home or rent a home based on a price/rent ratio which is the average house price divided by received annual rent income. The point is sometimes it’s better to keep renting
4. The History of Home Values -
This graphic presents housing values in consistent terms all the way back to 1890. The most recent real estate boom and bust is nothing short of dramatic!
5. Is it Better to Rent or Buy a Home? -
This graphic does a great job of showing people all the different costs of home ownership that may not think of when planning to buy a home.  Anybody love mowing the lawn? It’s interesting to see what the biggest determining factor is.
